DMEXCO 2019 is over and has left a lasting impression again. The in Cologne based conference is Europe's largest digital fair and attracts countless exhibitors and interested parties every year. Once again this year, exciting topics were discussed, current marketing trends analysed and future forecasts made. DMEXCO was held under the motto "Trust in you", which shows the high relevance of trust of all involved parties in the daily business of the digital economy. Our most important learnings and highlights of the fair can be found in this blog article.

With over 41,000 visitors, 1000 exhibitors and 600 speakers, DMEXCO offers the right products for every taste. The speakers performed at various stages and provided detailed insights into digital marketing. The speakers Stephanie Buscemi, Chief Marketing Officer at Salesforce, Jimmy Wales, Co-Founder of Wikipedia and Prof. Dr. Sabina Jeschke, Director of Digitisation and Technology at Deutsche Bahn, were highly interesting this year with their presentations on the opportunities and risks of digitalisation. True to the motto "TRUST IN YOU", the topic of trust also played an important role in the discussions. The digital economy cannot function without trust. Companies depend on the trust of users to successfully promote their products and services. User data must be properly processed and treated in accordance with data protection regulations. Overall, the digital economy can only function if society trusts that it will work for its benefit.

It was the fourth time that we were represented at DMEXCO. This year's participation was of special importance for Mailtastic, as we also had some news to announce from our side. We have been working towards this for a long time and were able to present our website relaunch just in time for DMEXCO. For the start of the fair our new website in the colour orange went online. Various design elements have been added, new fonts and a redesign of our logo. But not only the look of the website has changed, there are also exciting new features in the content of our Mailtastic platform. We have brought email signature marketing to a new level, advertising cannot be designed in a more personal way. Through receiver-based campaigns, which can be part of an account based marketing strategy, we have managed to make targeted, personalized signature advertising easier than ever for you.

This year we could be found in the Future Park, Hall 9. We received a very positive response to the new look and content. Many interesting personalities visited our booth and we were able to have exciting conversations.

Every year the so-called BVDW Guided Tours take place at DMEXCO, which offer visitors the opportunity to get to know the exhibitors and the variety of topics through guided tours. The tours are divided into different subject areas and are conducted by an expert for one hour. We had the opportunity to be part of this tour as exhibitors and to introduce Mailtastic. The tour was led by t3n Chief Editor Andy Lenz on the first day of DMEXCO. For us as well as for the tour participants this was a good opportunity to make new contacts and exchange know-how.

Another highlight of the fair was the speaking slot of Tao Bauer, our co-founder and CSO, who provided exciting insights into the topic of email signature marketing under the title "Unloved, unused, underestimated: Transform email signatures into a strong marketing channel". If you missed the presentation, you can send us an e-mail to hello@mailtastic.com and we will send you the video recording.

In conclusion, it can be said that this year's DMEXCO was a complete success. We look forward to maintaining our new contacts in the future and are eager to see what Europe's largest digital trade fair will have to offer next year.
